Students "stretch" a simple sentence using the model of C. Moore Snake. They are given a simple noun verb pattern. C. Moore is there to remind them to add two adjectives noun, verb and adverb (how) to make a more interesting sentence. The model also stresses the use of a capital letter and correct punctuation.
