This program focuses on a sound error that should but isn't always accurately produced by school age. It is common for children to say T instead of C when they are 4 years and under but this error can persist well into a child's first or second year at school, a time when literacy development and phonemic awareness are paramount to reading and writing success. As a speech pathologist I often have these children referred for an articulation assessment and while it is often not hard to correct, I often need to have quick, simple and fun activities to use with students that will create effective opportunities for them to practice the sound. This program is great for that purpose and for sending home to parents and to give teachers in their classroom. I hope you find it useful.
