Introduction: Pages 5-7
Skill Sheets: Pages 8-9
10-Item Quiz: Pages 10-12
Answers: Pages 13-14
Previous exams have featured questions that ask students to find the area of a circle given the radius, the area of a rectangle from which a circle has been extracted, and determine the properties of shapes inside of which a circle is inscribed. For example, students are commonly presented with a circle of known radius inscribed inside a square, and asked to find the perimeter of the square.
The recent pattern seems to indicate that circles will be featured in ONE or TWO items on each CAHSEE, and that all such items will be categorized under Standard 7MG2.1, a larger standard which itself will be assessed by three total items.
