Making a bulletin board into a calendar has been one of my best ideas for decorating the classroom:
--It’s large enough for students to see.
--It’s interactive…You can use it to help students practice saying the date every day!
--It’s versatile and can add flair to any month’s holiday or celebration.
--The papel picado letters are fun and cultural!
--It makes it easier to stay in the target language while using it as a visual when talking about important due dates, holidays, etc.
--Since the JPEGS in this file are transparent, your possibilities for decorating are endless!
Included to help make your bulletin board are printable slides/jpegs for:
--Months in Spanish
--Days in Spanish
--Numbers for dates
--Signs that say, "¿Cuál es la fecha de hoy?" and "Hoy es ____ el _____ de ____ de 2016 (editable)."
--"Feliz Cumpleaños" jpegs in the papel picado font.
--Examples of how to change colors, etc. for a colorful display.
