Caring Character Counts Ed Student Self-Assessment Half-Page WORKSHEET
This item is a quick and easy way to introduce and help students to think about how they are (or are not) being caring to others in their daily life. It can easily be used to introduce or end a lesson on caring or friendship and how it is shown in daily life. I use this with my character education lessons and have found it to be useful for many different grades from kindergarten to intermediate level. It can be projected onto the board and done together, or you can make a copy for each student to utilize to think about his or her actions privately.
Using this as a springboard for individuals or groups can be a great way to create a plan for each student to find ways to focus improvement in being caring with others. The back side can be left blank and utilized for students to write a plan to incorporate caring behavior into daily life.
This is done is Word, so you have the capacity to edit and personalize it to your heart’s content. It will print two surveys, each a half-page in size. The font is size 14, so it is easy to read by all ages.
This should only be used as an individual classroom resource. It should not be published or otherwise distributed without written permission. Copyright 2016- Counselor Bev
