Task One: Students are given the directions for two pizza orders in fractions, and must partition a whole to show the correct pizza. Then, students compare the fraction of each pizza covered by each topping.
Task Two: Same as task one, but students compare wholes of different sizes to demonstrate conceptual understanding of the part-whole relationships.
Task Three: Differentiated for students exceeding the third grade standard, working on 4.NF.1 and 4.NF.2.
