This product encourages the children to generate and analyse patterns in shape. Through the context of The Three Little Pigs, the pupils will investigate the relationship between the number of hexagonal houses built (in a terrace) and the number of sticks needed. They will also investigate different shaped houses and compare findings. They will explore the patterns within a rug used by Mr Pig and the number of bricks needed to rebuild staircases that have been blown over by the Big Bad Wolf!
Thorough teacher notes on activities, answers and pupil task cards have been included in this product.
