This is a passage from Act, I, Scene I. The purpose of this activity is to have students do a close reading (with annotations) of these passages and have the students’ complete the text- dependent questions. These text-dependent questions follow the 4 levels of questions that are covered in TDQ Pathways to Close and Critical Reading (2015) by Fisher & Frey. The questions can be completed individually, orally in a discussion, in a small group, or partners. There is a Teacher's Page included with directions.
