Product Description
This was created using language from Common Core Standards, as well as the Smarter Balance Consortium.
Students begin by annotating on text, then use the text to create a RAD.
Students input the standard, objective, and text w/author before they begin to collect evidence.
Students always start with relevant facts-these focus on transitions and subjects of sentences.
Then students bullet their evidence from the text on the right side.
An inference from the collected evidence is stated.
Lastly, students read over #2, #3, #4 and create a topic sentence in #1 and a concluding sentence in #5.
When students put their thinking together, they have #1 through #5 create an informational paragraph supported by evidence and focusing on the objective.
