This daily warm-up activity is perfect. It averages only about 60 seconds of class time per day, when used per prescription. It comes with built-in quizzes every ten days through the process, and it has a master quiz at the end. It is designed to be a memory exercise for the students; but, allowing them to also copy the new portion of each day's entry only reinforces the terms. I recommend that the quizzes be given in additive fashion. This is how I give them and experience tremendous success with my students! At my middle school, these terms serve as a school-wide warm-up activity. By the time the 6th graders reach 8th grade, they have mastered many of the terms from DVC I and are eager to continue the process with this DVC II tool!
