New Science Term Work
This page includes 6 copies of an exit slip. Students are required to write a definition and draw a picture or diagram that illustrates the meaning of the term. These could be added to students’ interactive notebooks if desired.
Identifying Organelles Quiz
Students are given a diagram of an animal cell and a plant cell. They are expected to match the name of the organelle to the structure that is identified in the diagrams.
Functions of Organelles Quiz
Students are given a “word bank” and a set of job titles. They are instructed to match the organelle with the job title best suited to its function.
This test is intended to be completed at the end of a unit on cells and photosynthesis. Questions include matching, multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank and short answer about the structure and function of cells and the process of photosynthesis.
