This is a record sheet I made for tracking how my students performed when working with CGI problems (Cognitively Guided Instruction). That basically means math word problems. As students are solving their math problems, I'm walking around the room making notes for each student using the checklist and also writing down any written notes I need to remember. This is great for conferences and for keeping records of how students are performing. If you have any questions about CGI, I'd love to explain in further detail. Feel free to ask me! I think it's a great strategy for kids! This document can be edited- you can type your students' names in the first blanks. The fonts I used are Janda Silly Monkey (for the title and rubric) and KG Primary Penmanship. I got both of these fonts for free at http://www.kimberlygeswein.com/?p=600 and http://www.kimberlygeswein.com/?p=931. Enjoy!
