CHAMPS Classroom Management display. When you set explicit expectations for students, they will know how they should be working to be successful. The CHAMPS model follows the guidelines of Conversation, Help, Activity, Movement, and Participation. Each circle has 4 generic phrases that are often used during a lesson.
How to use: Print on cardstock, either as regular size or as a four-page poster to make it larger. (change the poster size to 185%) I glued mine to colored poster board and then laminated. Attach the arrow using a brad fastener or hot glue one magnet to the center of the circle and one to the back of the arrow so the arrow can turn freely (make sure you glue the magnets the correct way so they attract to each other). I hang mine so the lines in the circle look like an x, not a + like they are presented in the document. I only did that so they would not cut off words when printed as a poster.
Before each activity, CHAMP the lesson to let students know the expectations and turn the arrow to point to the correct expectation. (The G.R.O.U.P.S on the Group sections refers to the anchor chart we use to identify how we work in a group: Give thoughtful feedback, Respect each other, On task the whole time, Use group voices, Participate actively, Stay in your group.)
**After purchasing, if there are any phrases you want changed to better meet your classroom needs, I am willing to personalize the sections. (I will not add pictures or colors, however.)**
Includes: Large Letters C, H, A, M, P, S for labeling the circles; 1 circle with 4 sections for each letter of CHAMP, 2 sizes of yellow arrows depending on the size you print.
