Do you use CHAMPS to establish positive behaviors in your school? Are you looking for an updated display idea? Be sure to check this out!

About twelve years ago, my school decided to implement CHAMPS, a school-wide behavior management program to encourage more positive and consistent behavior around our K-6 school building. While I was uncertain of how this approach could work for kindergarten- 6th graders, I quickly realized that with consistency and modeling, it was an amazing program. If you have not checked out this effective resource, be sure to do so. While the resource contains tools to create a classroom bulletin board, I wanted to update my dated classroom CHAMPS display for my BIG KIDS. I hope you find this resource useful, too! Simply print, laminate, display, explain, and MODEL!

Display Ideas…
• Print and laminate the CHAMP letters and words.
• Display CHAMP acronym and corresponding words in a visible location in your classroom.
• Discuss display with students on the first day of school.
• For added effectiveness, complete your display with photos of students modeling CHAMP expectations.
• Go over CHAMP expectations with each classroom/school activity.

This 10-page CHAMPS Classroom Management FREEBIE includes:
• directions and ideas for classroom display
• 6-decorative letter pages to print, cut, display

Best of luck with your classroom management this year!
