READY TO GET YOUR STUDENTS UP AND MOVING? This engaging activity is centered around character and making predictions. Do you want your students to get a better understanding of a character? Do you want your students to recognize their point of view?
The students will be assigned a specific character either from Romeo and Juliet or the novel that you are reading. They will then become that character and rotate around the room, where they will interview other characters from the play.
Throughout this activity, the students will be able to make predictions, while embodying a character from the play. The students are given specific questions to ask their character while speed dating. They will take notes on these characters and refer back to them during the class discussion at the end.
This activity comes with:
1. Instructions on how to operate the activity
2. A print out for the students
3. A model of the slides that I project on to my board during the activity
