CHRISTMAS WRITING: CHARACTER SANTA LETTER WRITING
This creative and fun assignment will allow you to bring the Christmas spirit into your middle and high school English classes while also meeting curriculum outcomes.
HOW IT WORKS:
After students have read a fictional short story or novel, they take on the role of a character from their reading and write Santa a letter. In the letter, they will tell him what they want for Christmas, choosing items that represent their character. They can also make a Christmas wish or ask Santa for advice about a situation they faced in the reading.
