This activity is to be used with the CIA World Factbook website. It begins with a comparison chart comparing the United States to Canada in regards to their population, life expectancy, literacy rate, internet usage, unemployment rate, poverty rate, and environmental issues.
The research process then becomes more in-depth as they compare individual countries to one another by answering specific questions.
This serves as a great introduction to research! It teaches students how to navigate one particular website as opposed to googling facts.
