This resource includes timeline cards that can be used to make the timeline described in the CKLA Listening and Learning teacher's guide for both Domain 9: The U.S. Civil War. The font is large enough to construct a timeline that students can easily refer to from different spots around the classroom. This large font also helps ensure that your timeline is noted during observations and walk-throughs. This is a great addition to your concept wall for Listening and Learning.
Note: This domain has you post some of the cards out of chronological order, with space for more cards in between in later lessons. The pacing of the domain is reflected in the order of cards in the product.
Note: I included multiple options for the timeline in this product. I included each event with the date on one card (in preview image one), each event without a date (in preview image two) and some benchmark years (in preview image three). This is so that you have multiple options and increased flexibility when constructing your timeline. If you have any questions, feel free to message me!
Directions: Cut around the border or leave full sized and post in sequential order to make a timeline. Use CKLA image cards as indicated in the CKLA teacher's guide. When using with image cards, either put these timeline cards above or below image cards for a completed timeline.
