CLAMDIGGERS' December: A 6 - Unit Bundle

CLAMDiggers' December Bundle allows you to purchase all Six Units at a discounted price.

Each Unit is constructed with Literacy enrichment lessons to be taught each week in December and into the New Year.

It begins with an exploration of how Christmas was celebrated long ago.

Week Two celebrates Nature’s gifts during the Holiday Season.

Week Three presents Factual & Fictional accounts of Santa’s Reindeer.

Although the Eight Days of Hanukkah are celebrated during different times each year, it is offered as a Unit in CLAMDiggers’ Fourth week of December. It includes recipes, a decoration idea, and a Memory Book.

During week five, Kwanzaa’s Seven Days can be celebrated as a Community Harvest Festival.

And, finally, the New Year Unit provides opportunities for reflection and goal-setting.

You can use these units for :

• independent study
• center time activities
• cooperative learning
• small group instruction

All units engage children in:

• reading comprehension skills
• writing composition
• interactive learning
• science, social studies, math and/or art
