CLAMDIGGERS: January's Poetry Poster

During my years in the classroom, I discovered the best way to focus my students' attention for new content was a choral read of thematic poetry written with colorful images.

January's nine-page poem collection includes five thematic 8 ½ x 11" images you can enlarge if needed. The font sizes are large as well.

The five themes this collection introduces are:

• the month of January “January” ~ Unknown
• Nature in Winter “Winter/Four Seasons” ~CF Alexander
• Snow “Snow Song” ~ Ogden Nash
• Civil Rights “Martin Luther King” ~ Aileen Fisher
• Hibernation “Winter Animals” ~ Unknown
