As much as we LOVE Summer, there are days ~ dog days~ when the heat is overwhelming, there’s not a breeze in the air, the swim water has warmed, it’s NOT cool under the shade of a tree, and, even, ice is melting before we can enjoy its refreshing benefits.
Staying indoors in the air-co and/or a blowing fan seems to be the best way to spend the day & evening. The long days of sunshiny light gives us time for more industrious activities. That’s where the Celebration Calendars can be a great place to look for opportunities for having Indoor Summer Fun!
With the help of the calendar sites ~ Holiday Insights and National Today ~ I compiled a list of over 65 Activity ideas to engaged the “bored” brain & body.
