It is tough for clarinets to learn to go over the break. In the back of their method book, there can be three fingerings for one note which can just be confusing for a beginner.
We take the guesswork out and here is a place to start. By looking at the note directly above the fingering, the clarinetist can make that connection without having to flip back and forth between the fingering chart and the written scale.
We recommend Crossingthebreak.com as a favorite resource for teaching clarinet. (There is no affiliation between BBB and Crossingthebreak.)
Here at Beginning Band Breakthrough, we strive to give you quick success with your students so everyone can enjoy the process more.
