* CLB1 Listening Assessment on How to Order at a Restaurant
* A link to the audio required for the completion of the assessment.
Ideal for the multi-level LINC or ESL classroom, this assessment is part of a series of assessments that allows CLB1 learners to work on an assessment topic that meets the Canadian Language Benchmark criteria for their CLB listening level.
This assessment comes ready to print and distribute to your CLB1 learners for a day of assessment.
This assessment will assess the vocabulary knowledge of learners based on the topic of food and going out to eat. Please ensure that you have done a lesson on food and the learners have heard food related vocabulary and appropriate expressions for the restaurant (Examples: customer, waiter, dessert, "What is (name of dish)?" and "It's one of the most popular dishes.") before assessing on this topic.
As with any assessment, please double check that the listening assessment given to a learner specifically matches the listening assessment level that learner is working towards. For example, if a learner is at a Pre-benchmark level (PB), this learner will receive the CLB 1 listening assessment, as this is the level the learner is working towards earning.
Enjoy your day of assessing on this listening topic.
