This assessment will assess the vocabulary knowledge of learners based on the topic of food and going out to eat. Please ensure that you have done a lesson on food and the learners have heard food related vocabulary and appropriate expressions for the restaurant (Examples: customer, waiter, dessert, "What is (name of dish)?" and "It's one of the most popular dishes.") before assessing on this topic.

As with any assessment, please double check that the listening assessment given to a learner specifically matches the listening assessment level that learner is working towards. For example, if a learner is at a CLB 3 level, this learner will receive the CLB 4 listening assessment, as this is the level the learner is working towards earning.
