This activity is focused on adding one and two digits. It is differentiated with four sets of clip cards (24 each of four colors) Students clip the answer with a clothespin (3 choices). It also includes 4 worksheets, game board with instructions and SCOOT.
It's perfect for centers, small groups, individuals or fast finishers. This is designed for grades kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades.
There are FIVE ways to use this activity:
1. Use clip cards in small groups with clothespins.
2. Use clip cards and student response sheet in small groups.
3. Let fast finishers use the cards with or without student response sheet.
4. Play game with clip cards on a game board.
5. Play Scoot with the entire class using student response sheet.
Page 1: Cover Page. Cut out and glue on a 10x13 or 9x12 manila envelope to store everything.
Page 2: What’s included?
Pages 3, 4, 5: Learning Outcomes
Page 6: Laminate the Hundreds Chart (make a set of them so each person in the group/center has one) and store in envelope.
Pages 7-10: Four different worksheets. This is where you can differentiate! A, B, C, D each is progressively more difficult. Make copies according to the needs of your students.
Page 11: Cut out ONE SET of labels (left column or right column) depending on if you want to use a die or a penny for the board game. Tape labels on 4 ziploc bags so that you have cards separated. (I use colored paper clips or buttons as game pieces.)
Page 12: Cut out ONE set of rules, depending on if you are going to use a penny or a die for the game. Glue on construction paper and laminate.
Page 13: Laminate the game board.
4 sets of clip cards: Laminate and cut apart. Store in ziploc bags that have labels.
Pages 14- 19: ORANGE = easy (one digit + one digit) using 0-5 only
Pages 20-25: PURPLE = medium (lower one digit + one digit) using 0-9
Pages 26-31: RED = more difficult (two digits + two digits with no regrouping)
Pages 32-37: BLUE = most difficult (two digits + two digits with regrouping)
Page 38: Cut out answer key, glue onto a piece of construction paper and laminate.

Pages 40-43: Recording Sheets according to color of clip cards. Answer Keys Provided. You can use these recording sheets with the Scoot Game or you can allow fast finishers to to get a bag of the clip cards and record answers on the sheet.
