There are 3 Donkey games in this package:
- Hour and Half Past
- Hour, Half Past, Quarter to and Quarter Past
- 5 minute increments
Each set of cards contains 49 to 53 cards and includes Directions for Play.
I use these sets for RTI, but you could also add them to a Maths Centre to consolidate the relationship between analogue and digital time. Donkey is a quick game and it's ideal to begin or end an RTI session. You could also use the clock pictures for sequencing time as a teaching activity.
I have bundled these games with Bingo and my Time Program (The Complete Book of Time) which is also available in my store. There is a 53 page Workbook perfect for RTI or Home Schoolers. It has worksheets, interactive posters and task cards. The sequence follows the Australian Curriculum and progresses in small steps right through to 24-hour time. I used to teach seven grades in the one classroom many years ago and I would've (nearly) killed for this type of resource back then. It would have lent itself to differentiating so well.
