The aim of close reading is to empower your students to genuinely take part with interesting and extraordinary text. In time, through close reading, students will be able to read more and more intricate editions individually, trusting merely on the information that the author offers in the text to withstand their knowledge and assessment of the text.
Teaching close reading is a very challenging skill to validate and also to attain. The Close Reading in Spanish document is a fantastic tool to model, teach and practice with your students.
Two models need to be thought of when reading: you have to read with the author or understand his views, and reading the author’s viewpoint critically or question his views.
The document offers as a story for students to analyze The Grasshopper and Ant Fable. Students need to summarize, talk about the characters and how they changed throughout the story and also what was the lesson learned.
Please check the PREVIEW to make sure that this document meets your needs and that it’s beneficial to your students.
