Description
* This listing is expired but can be downloaded as an example for the current listings found in my store here.
*This is an excellent resource for students to complete at home or in schools! New content for each episode so you and your students won't get burned out using the same questions day after day. View examples of this resource from last semester here*
If you teach a class that ties into current events then you will love this resource. It is intended for use with Google Drive/Classroom and utilizes Google Forms. However, the resource can be printed to paper or copied to a format of your choosing.
BACKGROUND:
I show CNN10 everyday in my Social Studies classes with support from our administration. Learn about the show here.
I use these Forms as a bellringer to start class. My students genuinely enjoy the program and I think it's great to see them be informed and generate discussions. Not everyone has the time to pre-watch each episode and create the Forms so I'm happy to help you out!
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
You will receive a link to a Google Drive Folder that will be constantly updated with pre-made and episode specific Bell Ringers. Each bell ringer contains 3 questions of the Mulitiple Choice or True/False variety that are intended to be used as a viewing guide while they watch. These are graded automatically! Lastly, a 4th question is intended to make the students reflect on what they have seen and practice written expression. The teacher will need to review and grade this response if they choose to. The forms can be edited as you please! I also include directions to quickly collect grades using Google Sheets.
New bell ringers are added before 6am central time the day of a new episode.
***This purchase will include new bell ringers starting January 4th and conclude on May 28th. After the last episode airs this resource will be completed and no new content will be added***
Because there will be fewer shows the later into the semester that you purchase this product, the price will be lowered each week.
