Education is seeing a return to teaching computer programming—now known as "CODING" in the latest eduspeak! Apps are fine, but there's no better way to teach logical thinking skills than with old fashioned LOGO. Apps are a breeze if you can REALLY program. Having taught all versions of Logo in the '80s and '90s, and having presented my master's thesis on teaching music with Logo at one of the first M.I.T. computer educational conferences, I know that parents often question its value. This is a printable to send home to your parents explaining why their children are so lucky to be receiving instruction in Logo coding.
