COLLEGE Bound Kiddos - Editable Classroom Display & COLLEGE Notebook Covers

Does your school encourage, or require, you to talk about and promote going to college with your kiddos, starting in Kindergarten? It is encouraged (and part of our teacher evaluation in NC!) at my school and we even have college pennants in our school lobby.

With this in mind, I created a mini bulletin board a couple years ago with all these cute kiddos holding college signs for colleges in our state (NC).

The editable Powerpoint version of the college kiddos will allow you to copy/paste your own choice of college logos. Just download/copy/paste, resize, and choose which kiddo is going to promote that college. There are 23 kiddos to choose from, so you have lots of options! NO COLLEGE LOGOS ARE INCLUDED IN THE FILE YOU WILL DOWNLOAD. ANY LOGOS YOU SEE IN THE PREVIEW FILE ARE JUST EXAMPLES OF ONES I USED IN MY OWN CLASSROOM.

There are 2 sizes of Kiddos included in the editable powerpoint. The original size will print at just over 2" in height. The new size added in March 2017 will print at just under 8" in height. You choose the height that best suits your needs for your classroom display.

What is a COLLEGE notebook you ask? Our students have a notebook that they take to and from school each day. This notebook has a zipper pouch from money, pencils, etc. Sheet protectors that holds their behavior sheets, monthly calendar, homework sheets, and a folder for sending papers home. We call this notebook their COLLEGE notebook.

I have included 10 COLLEGE notebook covers that you can use in your classroom. The editable document, like the College kiddos, will allow you to download/copy/paste college logos onto the kiddos signs. I have tried to make sure that the signs are “open” enough so that your logos can easily fit on their signs.

College Research Booklet - have your students research local (or far away) colleges. Students will research their location, motto, mascot, year founded, student population count, and what programs/degrees the college and university is known for.

Please note that you need Microsoft PowerPoint in order to edit files within this product. ALL boxes and clip art on editable files are embedded into the file (you cannot change them) but the text is completely editable.

You will also need a program on your computer that will allow you to unzip files. Each of the files included is included in a ZIP file.
