Fun and cooperative learning for students to identify their colors and color schemes. This is a parody/spoof of the popular sweet treat board game. I modified it and made it into a game called COLOR LAND to play with my lower grade students as teams. They race to get to the Magic Crayon Box at the end of the path. Student learn more about colors and color schemes. Students help create the playing cards. I've included a template that fits a 3"x5" index cards. The game is played on a screen. If you have a projector or a smart board then this is a great game to have your students play as a class. If you have iPads in your classroom in Power Point or convert and use in Google Slides. Then students can play a small group. I've played this game with my Kindergarten and 1st grade classes as 1 large group. Game lasts for approximately 30 min. Inside the zip file there is a PPT file and a PDF that includes templates for the game cards.
