Use this Employability Journal to help teach your students the 21st Century Employability Skills.
With this document, students can translate the Common Core Employability Skill Standards into their own words, and monitor their own progress as they improve upon those skills.
I use this in my lower-level sophomore English class to teach students the value of a strong work ethic and meeting high expectations. They will use this document to goal set, monitor their own progress, self-assess, and reflect.
There is a space for teachers to also assess the students on their goals and leave them positive feedback and constructive criticism!
*This document is 15 pages long, and the final two pages can be copied multiple times depending on how many times you ask your students to set goals. My students set them once per week!
Note: The standards used on this document are from the Iowa Common Core, grades 9-12. However, the standards can be easily apply or manipulated to fit with lower grade levels.
