~This POWER POINT SHARED READING is a STAND-ALONE or COMPANION PRODUCT to my other PDF printable resource. It provides two myths for students to read and compare myths/legends from two very different cultures, finding both the similarities and differences (COMPARING and CONTRASTING). Students will read two myths, one Greek Myth, and the other a Blackfoot Myth, both 'explaining' how the “BIG DIPPER” came to be. Greek Mythology and Native American legends may seem like two very different genres, but many similarities can be found.
~I designed this POWER POINT with teacher convenience, and student engagement in mind! This resource requires absolutely no prep! The text is numbered so that students can easily be called on to read or refer back to a specific part of the text with ease.
