Who thought writing and editing could be so much fun? COPS On Patrol is an Orton-Gillingham inspired, developmentally appropriate writing and editing guide to help your K-2 students understand the writing process. This product turns your students into COPS, who patrol their writing and make sure the rules are followed! COPS on Patrol contains COPS posters that clearly define COPS rules (marked with a badge graphic) and how to apply them (marked with a ticket & pencil graphic). COPS on Patrol also contains follow-up sheets for initial instruction for each COP skill at a K-2 level. Once each component of COPS is presented, the FUN begins! Students will become COPS—complete with badges to use while editing, police cars to use to track print, and Officers Carl, Olivia, Pete, and Sally and Coppers (a detective dog) to help monitor along the way!
