Attached are numbers 1-20 on jigsaw puzzles.
The attached document contains 3 versions:
-The 1st version contains jigsaw pieces with the numbers in numerical form word form with its matching counters.
-The 2nd version contains the same jigsaw puzzle but with the word form of the numbers.
-The 3rd version is also the same jigsaw pieces but with a blank line where the students are requested to spell out the word, and with blank counters- so that they may color in the stars as they write the word.
Ideas of Multiple Forms of Usage:
*The jigsaw pieces can be laminated, cut, and used for centers- whether to have students match the pieces by word form and numerical value; or it can be used as a tangible counting tool with no matching involved.
*The blank jigsaw pieces, too, can be cut and laminated by their full piece/puzzle. Then, the children can use dry erase markers and practice counting, coloring, and writing.
*The students can use the blank jigsaw puzzle pieces and eventually make their own mini book for the numbers ranging from 1-20.
