Product Description
This graphic organizer is perfect for students to use when finding sources for expository, research, persuasive or argumentative writing pieces. It helps them break down the source, according to the CRAAP criteria, to determine if it's a credible source to use in their writing. It helps you teach, and the student's reach, CCSS Anchor Standard for Writing 8, "Gather relevant information from multiple print and digital sources, assess the credibility and accuracy of each source, and integrate the information while avoiding plagiarism." There are columns for two sources on this worksheet. I suggest having them pick an online source and non-web based source. Or, have them fill out two separate copies, one for web sources, and one for other sources. I assign it through Google Classroom to save on paper.
