Psalm 19:1 describes how the world around us declares God's beauty! As we explore creation and see the tall mountains, the crashing waves, and soaring birds, we notice the power and beauty around us. It leads us to wonder where these things came from. People have always sought to answer this question. Christians believe the Bible is God's words and in the Bible we can learn the story of creation. It is through the Bible that we can know God and who He is. We can also know God through creation and His work in our lives.
This bundle of activities gives students the opportunity to use their skills in coloring and cutting to learn more about what the Bible says about creation.
The following activities are included in this packet:
All Mixed Up (Kiddos cut and paste the verse in order)
Bible Verse Chain (Kiddos cut , loop, and glue the Bible verse in order to make a chain)
Mystery Bible Verse (Ahead of time, write with glue the Bible verse on a piece of paper, and then allow to dry. Have students place the dried glue Bible verse under the Mystery Bible Verse page and create a rubbing using a crayon. The Bible verse will then appear)
Paint a Picture (Using water colors, have kiddos paint a picture of God's creation)
Puzzle (Color, cut, and then put back together)
Wrist Band (Color and glue around kiddos wrists)
