PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This report template was designed to support the examiner in planning, reporting and interpreting assessment findings. Be sure to review and delete information that is not pertinent to your particular assessment.
• Under “replace” function, replace *Student with your student’s name
• You can choose to include or delete specific research information about narrow abilities. This was provided mainly to support the examiner in planning the assessment
• Be sure to review and delete those narrow abilities not being assessed to ensure that your report includes only pertinent information to your assessment
• Narrow abilities highlighted in green are most relevant to academic achievement – this was also provided to support examiner in including those narrow abilities as part of the assessment
• Subtests highlighted in blue are recommended to be used with African American children in California, due to Larry P. prohibition on the use of standardized IQ tests with African American children
• Subtests that include a low degree of language and cultural demand are marked * following the subtest name
• Subtests that include a moderate degree of language and a low degree of cultural demand are marked ** following the subtest name

Hoboken, NJ: Wiley. Broad ability and narrow abilities descriptions were quoted from Flanagan, D.P., Ortiz, S.O. & Alfonso, V.C. (2013). Essentials of Cross-Battery Assessment, Third Edition. Hoboken, NJ: Wiley. Recommended classification system for describing standardized test performance were obtained from Flanagan, D.P., Ortiz, S.O. & Alfonso, V.C. (2013). Essentials of Cross-Battery Assessment, Third Edition. Hoboken, NJ: Wiley. XBA composite scores were obtained from Flanagan, D.P., Ortiz, S.O. & Alfonso, V.C. (2015). Cross-Battery Assessment Software System. V1.0 Wiley. Intact ability estimate was obtained utilizing the Pattern of Strengths and Weaknesses Analyzer, also from Flanagan, D.P., Ortiz, S.O. & Alfonso, V.C. (2015). Structured observation/interview forms focused on manifestations of weaknesses in fluid reasoning, crystallized intelligence, long-term memory, short-term memory, processing speed, visual processing, auditory processing and attention were developed using Flanagan, D.P., Ortiz, S.O. & Alfonso, V.C.
