This is the powerpoint that greets students when they come into my class right before they are about to engage in the CSI: Hamilton Duel at Dawn activity. That Crime Scene Investigation (available on my site on TPT) asks students to investigate the events that led Vice President Aaron Burr to challenge former Secretary of the Treasury Alexander Hamilton to a duel and determine if the duel itself was justified, or if Burr should have been charged with murder. This is a great way to get students to engage with primary sources.
