Description

This packet provides lots of pictures and ideas for fun games for kids to work on phonemic awareness and speech sound production.

This packet contains:

+Directions for three different games that can be played with these materials.
+35 CVCs divided up among the following 7 consonants:
-5 /g/ final CVCs
-5 /n/ final CVCs
-5 /d/ final CVCs
-5 /p/ final CVCs
-5 /m/ final CVCs
-5 /b/ final CVCs
-5 /t/ final CVCs
(I have provided one set of pictures with the word below the picture and another set with the question, “What sound do you hear at the end of this word?” The former I use for addressing speech sound production, the latter I use for working on phonological awareness)

+7 “sound nickname” cards to help facilitate the understanding of each of the target sounds
+4 pages of images to display point values that can be assigned to a specific sound/word
+1 data tracking sheet (and an example sheet to show how to use it)
+4 different score cards (There are two “regular” score keeping cards- one for 5 turns and one for 10 turns. Then there are also two score cards that list a reward for obtaining a given number of points- one for 5 turns and one for 10.)
+a word list of all of the pictures used (this can be used with the modified memory game or as a general reference for pictures that are not always self-explanatory when the words aren’t provided below)
