Use this differentiated CVC medial sound activity to target high/on and even below learners in your class. This activity can be used for centers or early finisher activities.
Students sort feathers to correspond with the medial sound turkey they are working on.
There are 2 levels of differentiation for sorting:
*Feathers with initial and final consonant sounds are included as well as feathers with only the picture.
*There are 5 feathers to sort for each medial sound.
3 levels of differentiation for response sheets.
*First level allows students to draw/write the sorted feathers in the box and then color the turkey at the bottom.
*Second level allows students to do the same as the first response sheet, but then they should try to draw pictures of other words that have the same medial sound in the turkey feathers.
*Third level allows students to do the same as the first two response sheets but they have to write words that have the same medial sound as the response sheet they are working on.
