What is this activity?
This activity helps support children that are practicing sounding out CVC words. This activity is stepping stone to actually writing CVC words because the children do not have to have full alphabet knowledge to start practicing this important early reading skill. Children have the option in this activity to either point to each individual box with their finger and he/she says the sounds, make circles in each individual box to represent the letters, or attempt to write the letters.
