I am a huge fan of the "Reading the Alphabet" curriculum by This Reading Mama. I have used it to teach my 3/4-year old Japanese class to read English. After we finished each unit, I wanted to see how well each student could read, and this game was a great way to see how much they learned.
1. As a read and cover challenge between two teams or two players.
2. As a bingo game where they can win with three in a row or four in a row.
3. As a solo read and cover activity placed in a literacy center.
