This is an fun springtime frogs and lily pad activity where students make and read CVC words. Students practice reading and making these easy to decode words. In this activity students choose a lily pad with a picture on and then spell the word with frogs. This activity can be self checking by writing the word on the back of the lily pad. Print this activity on card stock, laminate for durability and have students start practicing. This is a great activity for a learning station working with letters and words. Great for Kindergarten or lower level first graders. This activity comes with two worksheets which can be used for additional practice or assessment where students have to cut and paste a picture to the correct word and then use a word bank to write the word next to the picture.
