    Description

One of the most essential skills for students to master is CVC words. If your students are working with or struggling with this concept and need more practice, then these ready-to-use worksheets are perfect for you – simply print and practice! The cut and paste worksheets also give your students fine motor practice.

100 worksheets! Won't my students get bored with these?

No! This is a skill that many students need repeated practice with. In this set of resource, you receive twenty different styles of worksheets. Each style then has five versions. This gives your students plenty of variety in their practice.

Will students be doing the same thing on every page?

No! Your students will practice this skill through a variety of activities. On some pages students will isolate a particular sound and others they will work with the entire word. Look at the previews to see a sample of each page.

When should I use this resource?

You can use these for morning work, tutoring, centers, small group instruction, or homework. Another great thing about these printables is you can introduce one worksheet format, such as the Beginning Sounds worksheet, and then students can complete the four similar pages independently.

My students make a mess with worksheets that require cutting. Do you have any suggestions?

Cut and paste worksheets can definitely get messy! You may consider leaving a trash bin (small bucket or cup) at each work station. Then students can collect their scraps at their seats while they work and throw away all the extra pieces at once.

This is great, but I need more hands-on practice for my students. Do you have any CVC centers?

Yes, I offer several resources for teaching CVC words. You can find activities like clip cards, stamping centers, play dough mats, and more in my store.
