Use these boards with your students when practicing CVC words. They add a vowel card to the centre square then make a word. Use the boards with the letters provided or the blank board to add your own.
Students write out the word, sound it out and read the word by sliding their finger along the arrow.
Words can be sorted by real and silly words (nonsense words) on the recording sheet. I laminate the recording sheet both and we use for multiple uses and use whiteboard markers on them. It's a hit with the students!
Simply print, cut out vowel cards, laminate cards and board and away you go!
