Young learners need lots of practice when learning about long vowels. This resource gives them just that. It includes 14 worksheets for practicing reading and writing long o words:
-Circle the word that matches the picture. (2)
-Look at the picture. Write the word. (2)
-Look at the picture. Draw a line to the word that matches. (2)
- Add and e to change a short o word into a new long o word. (2)
-Change the beginning sound(s) to make a new word. (2)
-Read the sentence. Draw a picture that matches. (2)
-Fill in the blank with a long o word. (2)
