CVCe Fluency Story Sequencing Puzzles that make reading fun! Students read the long vowel stories and put the events of the story in order to practice sequencing to complete each puzzle! Great reading comprehension practice, fluency practice, AND phonics practice all in one!

I made 2 puzzles for each long vowel sound (a_e, i_e, o_e, u_e) so there are 8 puzzles total! You can see all of the puzzles pictured in the thumbnails.

These are a lot of fun and make fluency more of a game. Students have to comprehend what is going on in the story to sequence it so it provides great reading practice for several skills (long vowels reading, fluency, comprehension, sequencing, etc.)!

There are black and white versions of all the puzzles that are perfect for students to highlight or circle the words with the focus sound, color, and glue into notebooks or just to save ink!

By popular request, I added another version of black and white puzzles where each puzzle is twice on a page and the pictures are out of order so it's super easy to copy and your students can sequence the pictures. If you already own this, redownload to get them! :)
