CVCe Fluency: The Bundle!

Understanding patterns in spelling words can help readers succeed. This 4 packet CVCe Fluency BUNDLE will work with CVCe words to help build fluency and confidence! Each packet is specifically designed to make learning hands-on, FUN and highly effective for beginning/early/struggling readers!

The packets in this bundle will help students succeed by using CVCe words and basic sight words to build fluency in context and understand spelling patterns for silent e words. You can use the bundle packets as you see fit to target the learning needs and styles of your students. There is no wrong way to use the packets.

The 4 packets include:

CVCe Fluency: Puzzles
Each CVCe Fluency Puzzle works with a, i, o or u CVCe words.
Students begin by cutting out a 4 piece puzzle to build a CVCe picture that would match the sentences. Next, students box up (spell) the CVCe word that matches the puzzle picture. Finally, students practice using the CVCe words in context by reading 3 sentences for each picture. These interactive pages make learning FUN, hands-on and engaging!

The Fluency Puzzle pages include the following:

11 pages (22 long a words and 66 fluency sentences)

7 pages (14 long i words and 42 fluency sentences)

CVCe Fluency:Spin and Write
The CVCe Spin and Write pages work with the long a, i, o and u sound. Students being by spinning the spinner with a paperclip and pencil. They find the boxes that match their spin. They continue playing until all words are boxed up. Next, students use the words in the spinner to complete each sentence. This simple task will help build fluency with reading simple sentences and spelling patterns. This packet allows students to read 198 simple sentences with CVCe (magic e words)!

The CVCe I Can Read Simple Sentences packet works with a, i, o, and mixed review CVCe words. Students begin my highlighting the CVCe words in the sentence. They read the set of sentences 3 times each. Each time they read the set, they color a star. When completed, each page will allow students to practice reading 27 simple sentence to help build fluency and confidence. The entire packet will work with 378 simple sentences with CVCe (magic e words)!
