Use this student-run bingo center to practice long vowel phonics in an engaging way. Focusing on just one phonics skill really lets the kids get that "two vowels walking" strategy down. With 4 CVVC word wheels, students will practice the long vowel teams of: ai, ea, oa, ee/ea.
Are your students struggling with CVVC words? I am finding the CVCe is coming easily to many, but CVVC is stumping a handful for the first time this year. Wanting to keep the learning fun before it becomes frustrating, I created a CVVC Bingo center!
40 CVVC words total are practiced, with 10 words per game wheel.
This low prep activity only requires that you print off the spinner in color or black and white, and then laminate or place in a page protector. Slide a paperclip onto the spinner board for students to easily access their paperclip spinner (just add a dull pencil). Print boards (full page) one or two to a page (be sure to click 'scale to fit'), and you are good to go!
